HIKE THROUGH THE SWEDISH WINTER
The High Coast Winter Hike takes you through highlights of one of Swedens most breathtaking nature sceneries – the High Coast of Sweden. In 2016 Swedish Society for Nature Conservation made a voting where all Swedes could vote on what area they found most beautiful. The High Coast got most votes of all places including other amazing places like Kebnekaise and Sarek. During the High Coast Winter Hike you will experience the highlights of the High Coast – the coastal mountains, the deep snowfilled forests and the shimmering coastline that has become a UNESCO World Heritage site!
- Skuleskogen National Park
In the year 2000, High Coast of Sweden became a World Heritage Site just like the Pyramids and the Great Chineese Wall for it´s unique nature. You will experience the highlights.
You carry your own equipment and hike in your own pace. Hike alone, join other hikers or bring your family or friends.
On Day I and Day II you can choose a shorter route to have more time for fika and relaxation. Or you take the ordinary route and see more places.
There will be plenty of amazing photo opportunities. Remember to bring a powerbank to re-charge your camera or phone.

HOW ABOUT WATER?
Easy, boil snow – when you take breaks or relax at the campsite. Have at least 2-3 liters of water when you set out.
You sleep in your own tent at shared nightcamps where we enjoy the company around the campfires. You check in with the guides when you arrive and when you leave the campsite next day. You will reach the campsites between 4 pm and 7 pm depending on route and how many breaks you take. You leave the campsites when you are ready, but for security resasons you can leave earliest at 9 am and latest 10:30 am.
- Marshmallows by the campfire
- Falling asleep under the stars
- Breakfast in the sleepingbag
- The company of people from all over the world.
In the evening we gather around the campfire to share stories, food and drinks.
If only once in a lifetime, you should try it. It is so much cozier than you can ever imagine!
Prepare your coffee or hot chocolate in the evening. Wake up and enjoy!
